Description
Born on May 31, 1892 in Moscow. His father was Georgy Maksimovich Paustovsky (1852-1912), a railway worker. Mother — Maria Grigorievna Vysochanskaya (1858-1934). In 1904 he entered the First Kiev Classical Gymnasium. At the beginning of the Great Patriotic War, he was a war correspondent. He was married three times. He had two sons. He was nominated three times for the Nobel Prize in Literature. He died on July 14, 1968 in Moscow, at the age of 76. He was buried in the cemetery of Tarusa, Kaluga region. The main works are: "Warm Snow", "Telegram", "Basket with fir cones", "Disheveled Sparrow", "Steel Ring" and others.
